Electronic time tracking: timesheets without paper
Timesheets are on paper, and adding them up takes days at month end.
Paper timesheets mean days of totting up at the end of the month, mistyped overtime and arguments. With electronic time tracking, arrival and departure are logged from a phone or terminal, and the monthly summary is ready at the push of a button.
Sound familiar?
- At the end of the month, adding up the timesheets takes days.
- Overtime and absences are passed to payroll by hand, and every month there are mistakes.
- Leave requests arrive by e-mail, and nobody knows how many days anyone has left.
- During an inspection, it's hard to find quickly who worked when.
What does this cost you now?
An example from a 20-person company: two days a month adding up timesheets, and another half day correcting the data sent to payroll. Over a year, that comes to roughly:
And that doesn't include correcting payroll errors afterwards.
How we fix it
Logging from a phone or terminal
Staff log their time with one tap when they arrive and leave, on their own phone or on a terminal at the entrance.
Overtime, on-call time and leave in one place
The system calculates regular hours and overtime based on the working schedule you set. Leave can be requested online and approved with a single click.
Monthly summary at the push of a button
At the end of the month the summary is produced automatically and goes to payroll in the format they ask for.
Always up to date
Managers can see at any time who's in, who's on leave and how much overtime has built up.
What you get
- Month-end totals at the push of a button.
- No retyping, no mistyped overtime.
- Everyone can see their own leave allowance.
- During an inspection, you can find who worked when in minutes.
What does the law require?
Recording working time is required by the Hungarian Labour Code (Act I of 2012, Section 134): employers must keep records of regular working time and overtime, on-call duty, standby and leave. We set the system up to keep these records. The details that apply to your company are agreed together with your payroll provider or employment lawyer.
What it connects to
With the data format your payroll provider or payroll software asks for, the company calendar and your existing HR spreadsheets. If you already have an access control system, its data can be used too.
